Hate this conversation, but at the same time I like it.
You should talk about equipment, because then it is easier to find the one you need.
How many different cameras have you taken images? You just need to try it and then you know what is it that you like.
I think that there is no right or wrong. There are just everyone’s needs and opinions on what they like to use.
What is important to you!
What is it that you need:
Is the file size?
How many card places?
So there are no ‘’right’’ equipment.
You just have to have the best equipment for you. Is the one that you need and know how to use is.
The most expensive one is no good if you don’t know how to use it or it is no good for your use.
For example, you can’t be the fastest runner with the most expensive shoes you have to run a lot before you can ‘’earn’’ the most expensive shoes, then they help you with your running.
Camera doesn’t make you a photographer, that what is in the image inside and outside of it makes you one. The camera is just one piece of the equipment to fulfill your image.
It is like taking a paint brush from an artist and you couldn’t paint like the artist. Same goes for lights, editing programs, lenses etc.
What is the camera for your needs? Do you have it yet?
I have my camera for my needs at the moment and after I got it I haven’t even looked other cameras (if you don’t count the ones I have, for exaple film cameras)
